A burger with gravy all over it?!
Seriously.
I know, I know…..that’s what I thought at first too, BUT I decided to use some homemade chicken gravy from my local specialty grocery store and with the addition of a cooked egg on the meat, this burger was DELICIOUS!
Especially cooked out on the grill on a beautiful summer night, I mean does it get better?!
No….I don’t think so!
Form your patties and season with salt and pepper.
Cook them to perfection on the grill…
Cook an egg to your liking…
and Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger meat
- eggs
- extra sharp cheddar cheese slices
- chicken gravy
- lettuce
- tomato
- mustard
- ketchup
- salt & fresh pepper
- hamburger buns
Instructions
- Form hamburger patties with the meat and season with salt and pepper.
- Place them on the grill and cook until each side is cooked through and to your liking on the inside.
- Begin getting all the topping ready for the burgers!
- Cut the lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese slices.
- While the burgers are cooking, crack an egg and begin to cook that to your desired preference of either over easy, over medium, or over hard.
- I found this delicious pre-made chicken gravy in my local specialty grocery store. They sold it in the deli. You can either make your own chicken gravy or buy it pre-made. Warm that up and make sure that everything is coming together at the same time.....that is the HARDEST part!
- Then when everything is cooked, place the burger on the hamburger bun and then add whichever toppings to like.
- Then add the egg at the top, place the top of the bun on, and then drizzle with as little or as much gravy as you like!
